The words “PRO TECH ESSENTIALS” fill the left side of a gray promotional graphic, while the precision-bit set, opening tools, and black tool roll appear suspended across the center and right. Bright blue tools, accent marks, and blurred corner shapes add contrast.

Pro repair, made pocket-sized

Meet the newest kit in the Pro Tech line. The Pro Tech Essentials Toolkit pairs 16 precision bits with a set of opening tools, made for fixing laptops, speakers, and smart home devices. Make it your first real toolkit, or keep one in your bag as a backup.

Pro Tech Essentials precision-bit case with 16 bits and an empty driver slot sits on a wooden table beside the driver handle and a black tool roll. Blue accent lines highlight the case.

Best stuff, no fluff

Sixteen precision bits made from S2 steel, curated to handle both common and more exotic screws, like pentalobe and tri-point.

Two hands hold a smartwatch and a metal opening pick above a wooden table. A curved blue arrow points from the pick toward the edge of the watch.

Handle tight seams

Our new metal pick gets into seams too tight for a thicker pick, with depth markings so it doesn't go in too far. An opening tool, a short spudger, and three picks do the rest.

Two hands hold open a compact black tool roll containing a precision-bit set, opening tools, and small accessories on a wooden table. A thick blue circle surrounds and highlights the organized toolkit.

Endlessly portable

The tools ride inside our signature fabric roll with a hook-and-loop closure, and the bits stay in a magnetized case with a sorting tray in the lid.

Three open black iFixit Pro Tech toolkits are arranged from smallest to largest against a light gray background, each with a precision-bit case in front. Labels identify them as Pro Tech Essentials, Pro Tech Go, and Pro Tech Toolkit.

The new Pro Tech lineup

Pick your kit based on what you fix: The Essentials covers common screws in laptops, wearables, and smart home devices. Pro Tech Go adds bits for consoles, smartphones, drones, and RC cars. The OG Pro Tech Toolkit handles all of that and more, and adds some extra ESD protection.
