Até hoje, experimentei pouquíssimas marcas coreanas. O meu interesse diminuiu imenso ao perceber que uma grande percentagem de marcas coreanas vendem na China, tornando-se automaticamente not cruelty free. Foi aqui que a Klairs se destacou. Apesar de existirem outras marcas que ou não se inserem no mercado chinês ou acabam por sair do mesmo, a Klairs é a primeira marca coreana 100% cruelty free que tive o prazer de experimentar graças à Wishtrend. 


To this day, I have tried very few Korean brands. My interest has greatly diminished by realizing that a large percentage of Korean brands sell in China, automatically becoming not cruelty-free brands. That's where Klairs stood out. Although there are other brands that also do not enter the Chinese market or end up leaving the same, Klairs is the first Korean brand 100% cruelty-free that I had the pleasure to try, thanks to Wishtrend.


Hoje venho-vos falar do Midnight Blue Calming Cream, um creme azul com propriedades calmantes, perfeito para peles sensíveis e, de modo geral, indicado para acalmar e hidratar a pele. A embalagem é simples e elegante e, apesar de só trazer 30ml, é um creme que não precisa de ser usado em grande quantidade. Uma pequena porção é suficiente para acalmar e cobrir a zona do rosto em questão. Além disso, o creme inclui também uma pequena espátula muito prática e higiénica.

Tem como ingredientes principais guaiazulene e centella asiatica extract. Guaizulene é extraído do óleo de camomila e é eficiente em acalmar pele inflamada e danificada, bem como na regeneração de células. Foi revelado muito eficaz no tratamento de queimaduras do sol, eczema e em doenças de pele ulcerativas. Centella Asiatica Extract trata-se de uma planta nativa de Madagáscar que ajuda na regeneração da pele e na prevenção de marcas.

Today I want to talk about the Midnight Blue Calming Cream, a blue cream with soothing properties, perfect for sensitive skin and indicated to calm and moisturize the skin. The packaging is simple and elegant and, although it only has 30ml, it is a cream that does not need to be used in large quantity. A small portion is sufficient to soothe and cover the needed area. In addition, the cream also includes a practical and hygienic spatula. The main ingredients are guaiazulene and centella asiatica extract. Guaizulene is extracted from chamomile oil and is effective in soothing inflamed and damaged skin as well as in regenerating cells. It has been shown to be very effective in treating sunburns, eczema and ulcerative skin diseases. Centella Asiatica Extract is a plant native to Madagascar that helps in skin regeneration and the prevention of marks.


Porque é que o creme é azul? / Why is the cream blue?

O tal ingrediente extraído do óleo de camomila (guaiazulene) tem um tom violeta natural, que, após o processo de mistura se torna gradualmente neste azul suave. / The ingredient extracted from chamomile oil (guaiazulene) has a natural violet hue, which, after the blending process gradually turns into this soft blue.

A textura do creme é muito suave, cremosa e fresca. A sensação de frescura no rosto é imediata. Apesar de algo denso, o creme não é de todo pesado nem oleoso. Após aplicado, cria uma espécie de barreira protetora e, para além de acalmar a pele, a sensação de hidratação é notória. Não é um de creme do qual se faça um uso diário, mas sim esporádico, em casos de necessidade. O aroma não é forte nem tem fragrância. Trata-se de um aroma suave quase inexistente. 

The cream's texture is very soft, creamy and fresh. The freshness feel on the face is immediate. Although dense, the cream is not heavy or oily at all. After applied, it creates a protective barrier and, in addition to soothing the skin, the sensation of hydration is notorious. It is not a cream to be used daily, but sporadic, when necessary. The scent is not noticeable nor does it have any fragrance. It is a mild aroma almost nonexistent.


É perfeito para usar após tratamentos de pele, exposição solar e depilação. Gosto também de o aplicar nas zonas mais secas e irritadas do rosto, como na zona do nariz. Com as minhas constantes alergias existem alturas em que sinto essa zona especialmente seca e a escamar. Este creme tem sido uma salvação nesse sentido, pois, para além de acalmar, hidrata e ajuda a pele a regenerar. Também o acho fantástico para aplicar após a depilação de zonas sensíveis do rosto e, tenho a certeza que vai ser um aliado perfeito no verão, após uma maior exposição solar.

It is perfect to use after skin treatments, sun exposure and shaving. I also like to apply it in the most dry and irritated areas of the face, such as the nose area. With my allergies there are times when I feel this area especially dry and scaly. This cream has been a lifeline, as in addition to calming, it moisturizes and helps the skin to regenerate. I also find it fantastic to apply after shaving sensitive areas of the face and I am sure it will be a perfect ally in the summer after further sun exposure.


Estou a usá-lo há um mês e como é percetível ainda tem imenso produto, porque de facto não é preciso uma grande quantidade. Fiquei fã do creme e da marca. Para além de serem cruelty free, a Klairs não utiliza álcool, parabenos, coloração artificial e é eco-friendly. Além disso, 80% dos seus produtos são vegan-friendly (este não é um deles, dado que contém beeswax). / I have been using it for a month and as it is noticeable it still has a lot on the pot, because in fact it's not necessary a big quantity. I became a fan of the cream and of the brand. Apart from being cruelty-free, Klairs does not use alcohol, parabens, artificial coloring and is eco-friendly.
