Holographic Nail Polish from Primark / Moonshine ��✨

Numa recente ida à Primark, deparei-me com este verniz holográfico no tom "Moonshine" por apenas 1€. O preço original era 4€ e pareceu-me uma ótima oportunidade para experimentar um pouco mais da "beauty section" da Primark. Além disso, adoro este efeito holográfico e ainda não tinha nenhum verniz do género (shame on me, forgive me Cristine).

On a recent trip to Primark, I came across this holographic nail polish in the shade Moonshine for only 1€. The original price was 4€ and it seemed like a great opportunity to experience a little more of Primark's beauty section. Also, I love this holographic effect and still did not own any nail polish like this (forgive me Cristine).



Admito que estava à espera que fosse daqueles vernizes com pouca cobertura. Nop! É extremamente opaco. No meu caso, usei um verniz de cor preta por baixo porque sabia que iria intensificar o efeito holográfico, mas na imagem abaixo mostro como ficaria também sem verniz preto (a luz não estava a incidir tão intensamente nas swatches pelo que não se nota tanto o efeito holographic).

I admit I was expecting it to be one of those liquidy nail polish with no coverage. Nop! It is extremely opaque. In my case, I used a black shade underneath because I knew it would intensify the holographic effect, but in the image below I showed how it would also look without black polish (the light was not focusing so heavily on the swatches so the holographic effect is not so noticeable).

Deste modo, usei um verniz base normal, uma camada de verniz preto e duas do verniz Ps Holographic, só mesmo para intensificar! Com uma camada do verniz da Primark já fica bastante bonito. Durou cerca de 4 dias até finalmente começar a "descascar". Quanto ao pincel, não é nada mau. Não é muito grande mas também não é daqueles pequeninos que mal cobrem a unha. É bastante bom. Penso que existem mais tons mas o Moonshine foi o único que vi em loja.

This way, I used a normal base nail polish, a layer of black polish and two of the Ps Holographic, just to intensify! With a layer of Primark's varnish it already looks quite beautiful. It lasted about 4 days until it finally started to chip. As for the brush, it's not bad at all. It's not too big, but it's also not one of those little ones that barely cover the nails. It's pretty good. I think there are more shades but "Moonshine" was the only one I saw in store. Have you tried nail polishes from Primark? What do you think about the holographic effect?
