Cosrx | The Best Gel Cleanser + Mela 14 White Ampule / K-Beauty

Depois de render-me à Klairs e conhecer a Huxley, tenho estado a utilizar dois produtos da COSRX, outra marca Coreana de beleza cruelty-free muito conhecida no mundo da k-beauty. A oportunidade surgiu através da Jolse e acreditem, a escolha não foi fácil. Optei pelo Low pH Good Morning Cleanser e pela White Ampule, para dar uma ajudinha extra com as marcas de acne.

After falling in love with Klairs and trying out Huxley, I have been using two products from COSRX, another cruelty-free Korean brand well-known in the world of k-beauty. The opportunity came through Jolse and believe me, the choice was not easy. I chose the Low pH Good Morning Cleanser and the White Ampule to give an extra help with my acne marks.

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser 150ml / 12,48$

A COSRX tem imensos produtos com diferentes finalidades que me deixaram muito curiosa. Escolhi este cleanser gel por ser um produto tão famoso e, também, por ser descrito como um gel suave que respeita o pH da nossa pele (e com excelentes reviews).

Não quero aprofundar assuntos dos quais não domino, mas, pelo que li, o normal é o pH da nossa pele rondar os 4-6,5 e este gel tem, precisamente, um pH de 5. Contém ingredientes botânicos purificadores (daí o aroma a tea tree oil) e ácidos suaves para limpar o rosto. Perfeito para pele sensível ou seca, mas a marca afirma também que funciona com todos os tipos de pele. Para contextualizar, a minha pele é mista. Ultimamente mais seca até, e por vezes sensível.

COSRX has many products with different purposes that have made me very curious. I chose this cleanser gel because it is such a famous product and also because it is described as a gentle gel that respects the pH of our skin (and with excellent reviews). I do not want to deepen matters that I'm not an expert on, but from what I read, the normal pH of our skin is around 4-6.5, and this gel has precisely a pH of 5. It contains botanical purifying ingredients (hence the tea tree oil aroma) and mild acids to cleanse the face. Perfect for sensitive or dry skin, but the brand also claims that it works with all skin types. To contextualize, my skin is combination. Lately a bit drier, and sometimes sensitive.

A MINHA OPINIÃO:

Até hoje, nunca tinha usado um gel de limpeza com o qual sentisse que realmente fazia uma diferença notória na minha pele. Isto é, até conhecer o Good Morning Gel Cleanser. Para além de ser um gel que me deixa a pele completamente limpa e fresca, não deixa (de todo) aquela sensação de pele seca ou a repuxar. É muito suave e gentil e, só por isso, cumpre de imediato tudo o que a marca promete.

Tem uma textura em gel bastante normal e faz alguma espuma. Costumo utilizá-lo na primeira lavagem diária que faço ao rosto (pode ser usado como gel normal, sem ser de manhã) e, o que tenho notado (talvez também por influência do produto que vou falar a seguir), é que me tem ajudado imenso a combater o acne e as marcas que ficam (muito provavelmente graças ao BHA, que faz uma esfoliação química) e melhorado visivelmente o aspeto da minha pele. O aroma é muito similar a tea tree oil, mas um pouco mais suave e muito refrescante (inicialmente não adorei, mas agora gosto bastante), é o cheirinho perfeito para despertar ao acordar. Não chega aos 10 € e contém 150ml, o que é imenso produto (dura imenso)! Estou completamente rendida e acredito que seja difícil encontrar melhor pelo mesmo valor.

MY OPINION:

To this day, I had never used a cleansing gel with which I felt that it really made a noticeable difference in my skin. That is, until I tried the Good Morning Gel Cleanser. In addition to being a gel that leaves my skin completely clean and fresh, it does not leave (at all) that dry or pulling sensation. It is very soft and gentle. It has a normal gel texture and makes some foam. I always use it in the morning (it can be used as a normal gel, at night, etc) and, what I have noticed (maybe also due to the influence of the product I'm going to talk about later), is that it has helped me a lot to combat acne and the marks that remain (most probably thanks to BHA) and visibly improved the appearance of my skin. The aroma is very similar to tea tree oil, but a little softer and very refreshing (initially I did not love it, but now I like it a lot), it is the perfect smell to really awake. It has 150 ml, which is a lot! I am completely surrendered and I believe it is hard to find better for the same value.

Cosrx Mela 14 White Ampule 20ml / 26,25$

Como segundo produto da COSRX, quis-me aventurar nas ampolas (uma novidade para mim). Existem três diferentes ampolas, e optei por aquela que me pareceu mais adequada aos problemas da minha pele: a White Ampule formulada com 80% água de maçã, AHA e BHA. Trata-se de um gel (uma espécie de serum) cujo objetivo principal é nivelar o tom de pele, eliminando as marcas.

1. Every morning, after wash up and toner, take 1~2 drops and apply it on area with pigmentation thinly.

2. Avoid around eyes and mouth and wound.

3. For better effect, do not expose to UV rays ( apply sunblock over SPF 15).

+ Apply this before emulsion."

As a second COSRX product, I wanted to venture into the ampules (something new for me). There are three different ampules, and I went for the one that seemed best suited to my skin problems: White Ampule formulated with 80% apple water, AHA and BHA. It is a gel whose main purpose is to even the skin tone, clearing the skin.

A MINHA OPINIÃO:

Como mencionei acima, trata-se de uma textura em gel similar a muitos serums que já experimentei. O aroma é suave e pouco notório, não sei dizer ao certo o que é. Quando se faz uso de ácidos e vitamina C, é importante utilizá-los em separado, em diferentes alturas do dia. Acabei assim por deixar um pouco os meus serums de Vitamina C de lado, para perceber até que ponto esta ampola com AHA/BHA tinha o efeito pretendido na minha pele.

É muito suave na pele e, ao contrário do que pode aparentar ser, não tem aquela textura "peganhosa". Absorve bastante rápido no rosto e considero até que seja hidratante, pois, é a sensação que deixa sempre que aplico. No entanto, penso que obtive resultados idênticos ao uso de Vitamina C, nomeadamente no que toca à luminosidade da pele e à cicatrização das marcas de acne. O preço não é extremamente simpático, mas está frequentemente em promoção. Se, tal como eu, sofrem de acne e as marcas teimam em não desaparecer, é worth it dar-lhe uma hipótese.

MY OPINION:

As I mentioned, it is a gel texture similar to many serums I have tried. The aroma is soft, I can not say for sure what it is. When using acids and vitamin C, it's important to use them separately, at different times of the day. I ended up leaving my Vitamin C serums a little aside, to see just how much this ampule had the intended effect on my skin. It is very soft on the skin and, contrary to what it may appear to be, it does not have that "sticky" texture. It absorbs quite quickly on the face and I even consider it to be moisturizing. However, I think I got identical results to the use of Vitamin C, particularly with regard to the brightness of the skin and the clearing of dark spots. The price is not extremely friendly, but is often on sale. If, like me, you suffer from acne and the scars are stubborn about not disappearing, it's worth to give it a chance.
